The location was convenient to everything we were in Banff to do, visit, shop, tour.
The television had several channels that had no sound. Was not a problem for us, but definitely will become a problem as the tourist season picks up and more guests stay in the room. The other thing I did not like was having to check in at the front desk of the hotel next door and go over to the hotel next door to eat our breakfast. You are either open or you are closed. I would only recommend this hotel to people who are traveling to Banff in season as a result of this. If I had wanted to stay at the Voyager Inn, I would have booked there.
Accommodation was great for weekend getaway in Banff. Great location, affordable, close to Sunshine Village ski area and other facilities in Banff. Will return
no hot water for over a day when we stayed there very basic forcilities have to go next door for breakest not a place id stay at again
was quiet and had time to relax
one incident with noise and felt there was no security to handle the drunk men, though didnt last long was woken by loud banging and no response frm any type security.
The room was huge! We didn't expect that at all, especially for the low price we paid. Our balcony looked out to the mountains; it was breathtaking. Very impressed with the Spruce Grove Inn and will be coming back for sure.
The breakfast maybe could have had more options like bread and bagels with a toaster so guests could make their own. Other than that though, it was a great place.
The outdoor pool was pretty niceit was on the strip in banff so we could walk to downtown - 10-15 minutes the room was a really good size
The hot tub area could use an update
The nice king sized bed in the room, and the view of the mountains.
The room was a lot smaller then the pictures lead you to believe, and did not have amenities such as an iron or mini-fridge
The pool was cold for being an out door pool and the hit tub wasn't big enough for more then 6 people. The walls are paper thin and you could here the people on the floor above you going ti the bathroom.
well situated for getting around Banff, spacious room, good value for the money,
small fridge in rooms would have been good, four in our party, two in each room so connecting rooms would have been more convenient rather than adjoining,
After reading several reviews after booking my stay with the Spruce Grove Inn, I really had wondered what I was getting myself into...most reviews were terrible, and given the lowered price and very short notice availability for my booking on a long weekend in September, I was somewhat apprehensive. I was travelling solo with my two young children and was pleasantly surprised!! Parking was awesome, being that it was underground and elevators were available, when we checked in, I was shocked at the size of our room, it was huge! I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough room for a playpen, let alone room for my kids to run around and burn off some steam! It was fantastic, there is a park just at the end of the block which was great for an early morning start. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating to my and my kids!
I really would have liked it if there had been a fridge in the room, we had brought a cooler (thankfully) with our snacks, and packed lunches in it for picnics, but it would have been nice to have had a place in our room to keep things fresh for morning, like yogurt, juice boxes, etc. The pool was 5ft all the way across so I didn't bother taking my wee ones there, as it would have been over their heads, but there's not much anyone can do about that, and the remote didn't work on the tv we had, but we weren't there to watch tv anyway, until it was time to wind down before bed, so it wasn't a huge issue.
It had a very nice look and everyone was very friendly.
Not a lot your adds made it sound bigger and up to date This property has had a nice face lift on the out side
tres ordinaire petit dejeuner servi dans uns autre hotel
Central location; comfortable hotel for a weekend trip
Nice place Close to Keg
